MidState and Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter School of Medicine have formed a five-year clinical affiliation. Medical students will complete clinical rotations with required supervision at MidState beginning in the summer of 2015!

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month! If you are over 50 and have not had your screening colonoscopy, please don’t wait. A colonoscopy can save your life. More importantly, if you have a first-degree relative who has had colon cancer, you should be screened even earlier. Talk to your doctor about this important test.

MidState is proud to be expanding its uses for robotic-assisted surgery. Last week MidState did its first two colon surgeries using the da Vinci Surgical System. Robotic surgery reduces recovery time and pain for our patients so they can get back to doing the things they love!
