The Weight Management Team at MidState is ready to help. If you’ve struggled with your weight, we can set you on the right path to a healthier, happier life. Our weight management team will evaluate your history and determine the health risks you face.We’ll discuss how good nutrition and regular exercise can help. We’ll also help you decide whether you’re a candidate for weight loss or bariatric surgery, as well as which procedure is best for you.

Kelly Miller, our Weight Loss Program Coordinator is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.. She’d be happy to arrange a private, personal consultation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, from Eastern Connecticut State University, and a master’s of Social Work, from the University of Connecticut.
Prior to her role with the Weight Management Program, Kelly worked in the MidState Emergency Department, helping patients in crisis situations and serving as social worker for Pavilion D.
Kelly conducts pre-surgical psychosocial assessments for all weight loss surgery candidates, co-facilitates the Weight Loss Surgery Support Group, and conducts various workshops and programs in weight management and healthy living.
